How To Make Your Van Safer
How To Make Your Van Safer
|“AN ABSOLUTE MUST FOR 12 & 15 PASSENGER VANS”
The hazard of 12 and 15 passenger vans has been widely publicized in the media. With over 1,000,000 of these vans on the roads today, there is documentary proof that these vans can be the most dangers vehicles on the roads. They seem to be everywhere, and are commonly used by Churches, Colleges Schools, Hotels, and even some State and Federal agencies, to name a few. It is a vehicle with a very high center of gravity, that when fully loaded becomes almost three times more likely to rollover in an emergency situation.
To prove how effective the Roadmaster Active Suspension is, in reducing the propensity of Rollover, independent handling tests were carried out at the Transportation Research Center (TRC) in Ohio, with and without our product installed. The vehicle used was a Ford E-350 15 passenger van. After the tests were completed, the test results proved beyond any doubt that by installing our product on this vehicle the van become safer and less prone to roll over.
Installation is easy, taking only about an hour, with no cutting, drilling or welding and once installed requires no maintenance.
Roadmaster Active Suspension is a one of a kind patented product with hundreds of thousands in use through out the world, and is sold with a 30 day money back guarantee.
From 1982 through 2009, there were 740 fatal rollovers of 15-passenger vans in which an occupant of the van was killed. These crashes killed 1,183 persons and incapacitatingly injured an additional 1,990. More than six thousand persons have been involved in fatal rollovers as drivers or passengers in the vans, of whom only 309 were uninjured. Because these vans are widely used as transportation to outings, events and competitions a large percentage of these victims are teens and young adults.
These statistics are computed from the 1982-2009 Fatality Analysis Reporting System database maintained by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The fatal rollover crashes involved model year 1981-2008 vans manufactured by Ford, Dodge / DaimlerChrysler, and General Motors / Chevrolet.
Roadmaster Active Suspension will make your Van Safer and less prone to rollover
TThe patented breakthrough design of Roadmaster Active Suspension (RAS) literally revolutionizes the performance of rear leaf springs. Like powerful muscles, RAS captures the arch of the leafs thereby transforming a load resisting system into a load absorbing one. One that responds instantly to almost anything the road has to offer.
The system consist of a set of two very powerful, variable rated, coil springs designed to support and assist rear leaf springs. Once installed, loaded tension from the eye-to-axle mounted coil tension springs hold the leaf springs in their original designed bowed position. When strain from load or vehicle weight shift is applied to the leaf springs, the stabiliz- ers come into action immediately, absorbing the force of the load. Being variable rated, the greater the strain, the more counter-assistance force from the RAS unit. The absorbed load
is then dissipated via the coil and the effect of load force energy to the rear leaf springs is greatly reduced. Bottoming out is eliminated and the vehicle has a more level, safer ride.
Similarly, RAS reduces body roll by supporting the leaf springs which are taking the increased load. By not allowing these springs to flatten out, the vehicle corners more level with greater contact of all four tires to the road. Improved traction translates to better control and handling. The resulting stabil- ity and reduced sway are felt immediately.
It is important to note that Roadmaster Active Suspension is the only aftermarket leaf spring suspension upgrade in the world that absorbs load and as such delivers a level of safety and comfort that competitive load assist systems can only dream about providing.
